Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Smith Valley, NV is seeking Personal Care Aides/Caregivers who will provide personal care and support to seniors at home, helping with daily activities, mobility, meals, transportation, and companionship while ensuring a safe home environment.

You’ll work with a close-knit team and enjoy a set schedule, weekly pay, 1:1 client ratios, online training with CEUs, tuition discounts through Rasmussen University, and health benefits after meeting hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Clear Background Check, Drug Screen, and TB/Physical.
• We do not test for THC.
• NV driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen, TB/Physical
• We do not test for THC
• Valid NV driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
