A health care provider in Pico Rivera is looking for a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to provide cardiopulmonary services per physician's orders. This per diem role requires a graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program, current California licensure, and involves administering treatments and managing patient care. Candidates must have at least one year of cardiopulmonary experience and be able to communicate effectively in English. Various shifts based on patient needs, with a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• One or more years of previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services is required.
• Current ACLS certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and understand purposes and side effects.
• Perform EKGs and manage associated reports.
• Demonstrate knowledge across different patient age groups.
• Ensure all patient care is performed with safety and dignity.
• Develop teaching plans based on patient needs, including family.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Formation

Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy

Current California State Respiratory Therapist Licensure

Current BLS certification
