Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a professional registered nurse to provide patient‑ and family‑centered care using the nursing process and individualized care plans.

You will collaborate with designated care partners to address physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs consistent with cultural beliefs. Responsibilities include education, discharge planning, and participation in safety and quality initiatives, while adhering to policy and evidence‑based standards

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient‑ and family‑centered practice.
• Cultural awareness for diverse patient populations.
• Effective communication with patients and families and appropriate delegation.
• RN license required in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff in alignment with Jefferson Health values and evidence‑based practice.
• Identifies learning needs with patients and families and provides clear, understandable education.
• Uses health IT to communicate, document, and monitor care outcomes and inform quality improvements.
