Job summary

CHS Career Site seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Med/Surg unit in Warsaw, IN. This part-time night-shift role supports RN/LPN staff by delivering patient-centered care and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, recording vital signs, aiding mobility and meals, and reporting findings to the care team. A CNA certification is preferred, and BCLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a nursing program preferred.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA certification preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Record vital signs and report findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support meals, hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor urine output and glucose as instructed and document results.
