Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in La Grange, IL seeks a full-time Nurse/Patient Care Technician to provide bedside care during night shifts. You will work 36 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays, and may receive up to a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include assisting in patient care under supervision, documenting procedures, and ensuring safety and quality of care per policy. Education includes a high school diploma; CNA/CPCT/A/EMT certifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• 1+ applicable PCT experience
• Previous bedside patient care in an acute care unit or equivalent medical experience

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 36 hours/week; Nights 6:45pm - 7:15am with rotating weekends/holidays
• Performs patient care under RN supervision and adheres to policy and safety standards
• Documents procedures and reports abnormalities to the RN and participates in performance improvement activities
