MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support comprehensive health care services under the supervision of RNs and physicians. The role offers a .9 FTE night shift with 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotation.

The PCA collaborates with the entire nursing staff, providing patient care, dressing changes, data gathering and vital signs while maintaining a service-oriented, professional approach and strong prioritization skills.

Qualifikationen

• Nursing Assistant Certification in Washington is required; for RN students, enrollment may replace this requirement.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required.
• One year of patient care experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform patient care as directed by RN/physician.
• Assist with dressing changes, data gathering, documentation and vital signs.
• Demonstrate service-oriented attitude, integrity, and good judgment.
• Prioritize tasks and maintain organization with flexibility in duties.
