Job summary

Beacon Health System in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a PCA for Neuro/Ortho Care. This full-time, 0.90 FTE position requires night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am at Beacon Kalamazoo. The role supports direct patient care and unit operations with a focus on compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Minimum of six months experience with direct patient care preferred.
• BLS Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Complete orientation/training programs for the position as evidenced by completion of competencies.
• Work effectively as a team member in delivering care and promoting collaboration.
• Enter and retrieve patient information on computer.
• Complete CPI and be physically capable of implementing CPI techniques.
• Perform and assist with therapeutic procedures and treatments.
• Observe and record pertinent information; report significant changes to the RN.
• Inventory, order, stock and locate equipment and supplies for patient care.
