Children's Hospital Colorado seeks a Part-time Patient Registration Representative in Highlands Ranch, CO. The role supports admission, registration, insurance management, and check-in/check-out processes with a focus on service quality and patient experience.

Shifts are two 12-hour nights per week (6:45pm–7:15am) with weekend/holiday availability required. Minimum 1 year in healthcare/administrative/customer service is required.

Qualificações

• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• A relevant associate or bachelor’s degree may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient support services including registration, scheduling, patient greeting and directions, patient check in/out and follow-up visit support.
• Utilizes and remains up to date with department office operations and established policies and procedures.
• Provides customer service support and assistance to patients, families, physicians and other internal/external customers.
• Supports health insurance management functions by collecting patient insurance information, documenting the patient’s method of payment and/or collecting payment responsibility.
• Communicates personalized estimates of financial responsibility to patients.
• Obtains signatures for treatment consent forms and verifies consent per policy.
• Obtains and documents patient demographic information.
• Receives patient calls to schedule appointments and complete registration functions.
• Performs data entry in the medical records system.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to ensure comfort.
