Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide nursing assistance and direct patient care in an acute care setting. You will help with activities of daily living and personal hygiene, working within a unit-based, self-directed team to support patients’ comfort and safety.

The role requires BLS, Georgia CNA certification or equivalent, and at least one year of relevant patient care experience; evening or night shifts (7p-7a) may be included.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS certification.
• CNA on Georgia Registry or CMA/AMT/NHA credential required.
• At least 1 year of direct patient care experience (CNA, PCT, ED Tech, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assistance and general patient care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Perform duties with a unit-based, self-directed patient care team approach.
