Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the 3 South Orthopedic unit on third shift at Baptist Medical Center South. You will assist RNs, LPNs, and physicians, supporting the patient care team with routine tasks and patient comfort.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, CNA/HOSA preferred, and completion of first clinical rotation or 1 year of patient care experience is preferred. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or a Health Occupations Program preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as a Nurse Student or 1 year of patient care experience in acute care, nursing home or home care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and Physicians in the patient care process.
• Supportive member of the patient care team carrying out routine and non-complex tasks in patient care.
