Job summary

Baptist Health System is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Baptist Medical Center South. You will assist in routine patient care, supporting RNs, LPNs and physicians on the Surgical-Trauma ICU team.

A high school diploma and BLS are required; CNA/Health Occupations training is preferred, with limited clinical rotation or experience in acute care settings encouraged. This is a regular full-time third-shift position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CNA/HOSA preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation or 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs and Physicians in patient care.
• Support routine and non-complex patient care tasks.
