Palestine Regional Medical Center in Palestine, TX, is seeking a diligent Nursing Assistant to support patient care in a 150-bed hospital. You will assist with daily activities, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with RNs and the care team to maintain safe, clean, and well-organized patient areas.

The role requires basic computer knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work under supervision within a dynamic hospital setting. BLS is required; CNA licensure is preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a Patient Care Training program is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• State CNA licensure preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Consult with supervisor and keep informed of unit activities, needs, and problems related to patient care.
• Provide basic nursing care to ill patients.
• Perform general nursing tasks such as positioning, turning, and use of equipment.
• Record vital signs and input/output accurately and timely.
• Prepare patient rooms for admissions and transfers; ensure equipment is in room.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable patient environment.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures; help with patient belongings.
• Answer call lights, telephone, and paging system promptly.
