Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital, a Magnet-designated facility, seeks a Patient Care Nurse Assistant to support RN-led care for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes night shifts (6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), weekend and holiday requirements, and hands-on patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, with nursing students possible if clinical rotations are completed. BLS is required within the hire period, and veterans will be considered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Nursing students who have completed at least one clinical rotation may substitute the clinical rotation for the required experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the new hire period.
• Military experience (HM, 68W, or 4N0X1) will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition to an RN.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Assist with patient transfers/transport and vital signs.
