Job summary

WellStar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Night shift RN to join our interdisciplinary care team. You will deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care and coordinate with physicians, therapists and support staff to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

As a member of our clinical nursing team, you will apply the Nursing Process, support the WellStar governance model, and participate in continuous improvement, education, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of patient care as RN.
• Associates degree in nursing or diploma in nursing; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based care.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Coordinate care with patient and family through bedside shifts, rounds, and teaching.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and document care to support safe, quality outcomes.
• Participate in performance improvement and shared governance initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety goals and ethical standards.
• Mentor/precept other nurses to maintain a qualified workforce.
• Engage in data collection and research to support evidence-based practice.
