Barrett Petfood in Little Falls, MN hires a Full-Time Utility Operator to monitor packaging lines, setup equipment, and support a high-performance team focused on safety and quality. The role runs 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Monday–Friday, with a $21.50–$25.00/hour base pay plus a $3 shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Set up lines and guide operators to centerlines and product.
• Improve centerline and troubleshoot processes.
• Assist Process Engineer with product development.
• Support department needs with manager/supervisor.
• Identify issues and report for support.
• Ensure product quality and paperwork accuracy.
• Record metal, weight, seals, and lot codes.
• Verify cleans and assign duties to others.
• Coordinate with material handlers for upcoming jobs.
• Communicate packaging needs with Packaging Supervisor.
• Notify supervisor of safety, quality, or production escalations.
• Assist troubleshooting of equipment to meet throughput.
• Notify maintenance if the packaging line breaks.
