Job summary

Y. Hata & Co. in Hawaii is seeking a Seasonal/Temp warehouse associate to pull orders using a voice picking system and build pallets for delivery. The role includes on-the-job training and requires forklift certification.

Work Sunday through Thursday, 7:00pm–3:30am, with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and ensure safe handling and labeling of goods. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• One year of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the food-service industry.
• Must be able to successfully complete in-house forklift certification test.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Pulls customer orders from warehouse pick slots using voice picking and pallet truck.
• Stacks cases and builds pallets for delivery.
• Assembles orders and prepares pallets for shipping with labeling.
• Ensures products are undamaged and correctly rotated.

Pay Range: $25 to $28 per hour

Position Summary Description:

Pulls customer orders using a pick ticket and voice command system and builds pallets for delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pulls customer orders from warehouse pick slots by utilizing a voice picking system and a pallet truck or high reach truck.
• Stacks cases according to company standard and builds pallets to be loaded onto delivery trucks.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, in preparation for final check and delivery.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance with company standards.
• Ensures that all products stored and/or selected for delivery are free from damage and/or pest infestation.
• Compiles storage and/or selection date for daily reports, marks materials with identifying information.
• Prepares pallets for shipping with appropriate labeling information.
• Follows established safety standards for proper food handling and date rotation procedures.
• Performs similar and related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

Qualifications:
