Job summary

FoodPRO Corporation in Frederick, MD is seeking a full-time Night Warehouse Selector to pick orders in our warehouse using RF scanning and help load trucks for the next day’s deliveries.

You will maintain per-hour piece counts, work with the team, and pass pre-employment drug screens and a physical. The role offers incentive pay averaging $25/hour, with training pay at $20/hour.

Job Title: Night Warehouse Selector

Department: Warehouse

Location: FoodPRO (Frederick, MD)

Reports To: Night Warehouse Manager

Summary:

FoodPRO is looking for a full-time Night Selector. The night selector is responsible for picking product in our warehouse using a state of the art RF Scanning system (BFC) and will help load trucks for the next day's deliveries. Night Selectors get paid an Incentive – Piece Pay Rate (averaging $25/hr); training pay is $20/hr. Criminal background checks and drug screens will be conducted prior to start date.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Select orders in an accurately, safe, and consistent way using an electric pallet jack
• Selecting pieces and building pallets for next day deliveries
• Stacking pallets correctly
• Work well with other team members
• Maintain per hour piece count while keeping error rate low

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Strong work skills and detail for task performing
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

Desired Qualifications:

• Motorized pallet jack/rider experience
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Picking (selecting orders) experience
• Night shift experience

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Physical Qualifications:

• Must be able to physically lift 75+ pounds of product safely.
• Must be able to physically operate warehouse equipment
• Must be able to squat, bend, push and pull frequently and safely.

Environment Details:

• Freezer, Cooler, and Dry Warehouse Environment
• Temperatures varying from 0 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit
