Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an overnight supervisor to manage store operations, inventory and safety during overnight shifts. You will supervise associates, coach performance, and ensure adherence to company standards while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Responsibilities include training on stocking procedures, conducting safety briefings, and ensuring proper display and pricing. Prior lead or grocery experience is preferred in this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Ability to operate a cash register.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Willingness to obtain required food handling certifications.

Responsibilities

• Train overnight associates on stocking procedures and productivity standards.
• Coach overnight team to maintain company standards.
• Assess work completion and follow up on performance.
• Conduct safety meetings and train on safety practices (lift, cutters, pallet jacks).
• Maintain a clean, safe store and ensure equipment is safe and functional.
• Direct unloading of trucks and stocking of new merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is presented per established plans and pricing.
