Job summary

ITS Logistics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a reliable Tracking & Tracing Specialist for the brokerage division. You will track current shipments, maintain driver relationships, and provide timely updates to customers using our TMS system.

The role requires the ability to work evening and midnight hours, strong written and verbal communication, and high attention to accuracy. Start date is October 12th with a schedule from ~7pm to 4:30am.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• Ability to work evening and midnight hours.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation in TMS.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and perseverance under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace current shipments in ITS network.
• Maintain relationships with drivers and provide support as needed.
• Provide timely and accurate communications to all customers.
• Review and communicate effective handoffs each shift and assess network state daily.
• Utilize technology to track orders for on-time delivery.
• Ensure loads are on time and track/trace updates are sent per cadence.
• Escalate concerns, delays, losses, or revenue issues to the proper chain of command.
• Work efficiently with a high level of accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Position

This position reports to the Division Director and is responsible for track and trace functions of shipments for the brokerage division of ITS. This includes the following:

• Tracking and tracing current shipments in the ITS network.


• Maintaining relationships with drivers and provide support as needed.


• Producing timely and accurate communication to all customers within the assigned network.


• Reviewing and communicating effective handoffs each shift and understanding the state of the network daily.


• Utilizing technology to properly track orders for on time delivery.


• Ensuring loads are on time and track and trace updates are sent per the required cadence.


• Escalating concerns, delays, loss failures, loss of revenue and other issues with shipments to appropriate chain of command.


• Work efficiently with a high level of accuracy.


• Other duties as assigned.

About the requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in the transportation industry preferred, but not required.


• Ability to work evening and midnight hours.


• Good communication skills, including professional business writing, verbal communication, and documentation in TMS.


• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.


• High level \"grit\" with the ability to persevere and manage issues successfully in high stress situations.
