Job summary

Myrtle Beach Seaside Resorts is seeking a Night Manager to oversee evening hotel operations at the Polynesian Hotel in Myrtle Beach, SC. This full-time, 2nd shift role reports to the General Manager and supervises staff to ensure guest safety and service quality.

Responsibilities include checking in guests, resolving issues, and coordinating with other departments to meet guest needs while maintaining company standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• High School Diploma required.
• Previous front desk/customer service experience preferred.
• Managerial experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, management and team-building skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Salary will be based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards; anticipate needs.
• Resolve front desk discrepancies (financial, reservation).
• Assist guests with reservations and check-in/out at the resort.
• Work with guests to resolve problems with mutual agreements.
• Provide information on resort amenities and services.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest requests promptly.
• Communicate nightly needs to morning staff.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety policies.
• Demonstrate leadership to inspire the team and maintain a positive environment.
• Perform nightly property walks and complete the MOD Report.
