Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the Oncology Unit 1, assisting Registered Nurses in direct patient care on a designated unit. Night shift, 36 hours per week, with responsibilities including daily living activities, patient transport, and safety measures.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in activities of daily living and supports patient comfort and safety.
• Maintains clean and safe patient environments and assists with transport and basic nursing tasks as directed.
• Documents vital signs, intake/output, and other data per unit protocol and RN guidance.
• Contributes to a positive patient experience through respectful, compassionate interactions.
