Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle high stress and adapt to changing priorities.
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology.
• General PC skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Capable of multitasking with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication with physicians and nursing leadership.
• Experience inputting, retrieving and reporting data.
• Coordinate transfer processes and notify physicians.
• Familiar with Trauma criteria and EMTALA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient placement and flow within the unit.
• Adjust staffing levels under House Supervisor guidance.
• Assign attending physician for inpatient admissions.
• Coordinate transfer processes and communications between referring and accepting physicians.
• Input, retrieve and prepare reports as needed.
• Monitor Tele Tracking and Kronos data for staffing and resource needs.
• Provide patient data to physicians and House Supervisor upon request.
• Maintain accurate records for CSO employees in Kronos.
• Perform duties as assigned to support operations.
