Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Louisiana and BLS-HCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Carries out hospital/nursing policies, infection control, safety, and environmental policies.
• Visits patient care units to assess patient condition and staffing needs; provides support to caregivers.
• Coordinates and evaluates services across departments during the shift.
• Maintains leadership updates on circumstances impacting operations.
• Provides administrative leadership in absence of senior leadership; manages staffing distribution.
• Ensures staffing according to unit needs and staff expertise.
• Participates in planning and delivering in-service education and nursing committees.
