Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living's Hillcrest Millard in Omaha, NE is hiring a Full-Time Night Nurse (RN/LPN). As part of the overnight team, you will provide high-quality nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with the care team to maintain a calm, safe overnight environment.

You’ll lead with strong clinical judgment, document accurately, and communicate clearly with guests, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Nebraska RN or LPN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required or to be obtained within Hillcrest’s timeframe.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care and support for guests and residents.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and act on concerns.
• Document accurately and on time.
• Communicate with guests, residents, families, physicians, and the care team.
• Provide leadership and guidance to care team during the shift.
• Maintain a calm, safe overnight environment.
• Follow medication-management, infection-control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Nurse Techs and team members to ensure quality care.
• Support care team with clinical direction and response to urgent needs.
