Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Enid in Enid, OK is seeking a Nurse Resident for night shift, 7:00pm–7:00am, full-time. The Nurse Resident provides basic patient care under RN supervision, learning hospital procedures and populations.

This entry-level role requires new graduate eligibility and BLS certification; NCLEX eligibility is required. Candidates will gain hands-on experience, participate in on-call status, and may float to other units while building foundational nursing skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a new graduate or eligible to graduate from an accredited Nursing Program with eligibility to take the NCLEX exam.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Personal patient care tasks under supervision (mouth care, beds, baths, perineal care, etc.).
• Assist with patient safety issues and fall prevention, restraints, positioning, rest and sleep.
• Perform basic diagnostic testing: vital signs, glucose, EKG, telemetry, pulse oximetry, Doppler.
• Assist in admissions and discharges; prepare rooms and patient records.
• Assist with sterile procedures and basic treatments; catheter care, sitz baths, dressings.
• May retrieve and transport medications; note cannot administer medications or independently assess patients.
