Job summary

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program.
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Texas RN and Texas APRN licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical and mental condition of patients during exams and histories.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes or recommends medical therapies and treatments.
• Develops comprehensive patient treatment plans with physicians.
• Counsels patients and families on medications and health promotion.
• Maintains medical records of treatment plans and outcomes.
• Provides consultation for conditions related to the specialty.
• Performs invasive procedures within scope of practice as delegated.
• May conduct hospital rounds and provide on‑call support.
