Job summary

Valley Children’s Hospital in Central California operates the region's only Regional Level IV NICU. The RN in NICU coordinates patient care, under the Nursing Practice Act, ensuring 1:1/2:1 ratios in ICU and 1:3 in intermediate care.

Qualifications include CA-BRN license, BLS, and NRP with experience in Neonatal care; bilingual skills preferred. Compensation is provided for night shifts with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• RN - CA-BRN license required
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
• NRP certification within six months of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care and coordinate patient plan of care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Comply with Valley Children's Hospital policies and Nursing Practice Act
