Job summary

LE01 Valley Children's Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-level medical care for newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Graduate of a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Three (3) years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Act as a consultant and educator within a specialized area of practice.
• Coordinate care and advocate for patients.

Education

Master’s Degree in Nursing

Graduate of a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program

BLS – Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire

RN – Registered Nurse

NP – Nurse Practitioner

NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program

NP-C or NCC – Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse
