Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEG, NCV and evoked potentials, with high attention to detail and patient care. The role requires evening/night schedule, 40 hours per week, and potential weekend rotation.

A sign-on bonus is eligible and benefits are provided. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited Neurodiagnostic program, and ABRET EEG approval or eligibility within 2 years.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic program; 3 years experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• EEG registry or eligibility for EEG registry preferred.
• ABRET EEG certification required within 2 years of hire; dept requirements must be met within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex EEG tests, NCV, EP and related procedures.
• Follows equipment manuals, calibrations, and corrects basic issues.
• Obtains patient information from records and ensures accurate technologist reports.
• Adapts testing approach based on patient history and diagnostic findings.
• Maintains documentation and archiving of data and forms.
• Provides supervision to students and new technologists; supports supply management.
