Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Virginia seeks a full-time MRI Technologist for weekends only. Responsibilities include performing MRI scans, assessing patients, and providing comprehensive care in coordination with other healthcare professionals. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be certified in MRI. Qualifications

• Certified/registered by the ARRT in MRI or another Imaging profession required.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification needed.
• Ability to interact courteously and professionally with patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging for radiological diagnosis of patients.
• Assess patient data reflective of their status.
• Provide care per applicable policy and procedures.
• Coordinate and manage the plan of care with healthcare team.
• Operate specialized equipment to obtain quality images.
• Assist with scheduling, registration, and management tasks.
• Evaluate and position patients with care and safety.
• Train students and staff as assigned.
