Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or AS in Clinical Laboratory Technology.
• 6 months CLIA‑accredited clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to manage change, stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimens and organize workflow to optimize testing turnaround time.
• Extract, denature, and purify DNA/RNA from specimens.
• Perform PCR sequencing methods.
• Evaluate results for interference or problems during extraction, amplification, or sequencing.
• Maintain quality control, validation and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
