Job summary

CommuniCare, Inc. is seeking a licensed clinician (LCSW, APRN, or PhD) to provide after-hours, overnight, and weekend mobile crisis services in New Haven, CT. The role involves community psychiatric assessments, often with law enforcement, and may include initiating emergency hospitalization when needed.

Responsibilities include mobile crisis services, timely on-call documentation, and adherence to a monthly shift schedule (4 weekdays and 2 weekend shifts, 10pm-8:30am).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health field.
• Significant experience in clinical risk assessment.
• Independent management of clinically complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile crisis and assessment services during all on-call hours per the monthly schedule.
• Complete on-call clinical documentation and fax forms to the on-call crisis clinician within 2 hours.
• Commit to four weekday shifts and two weekend shifts per month from 10pm to 8:30am.
