Job summary

Foundations for Living, a residential treatment center in Mansfield, Ohio, seeks a compassionate Milieu Coordinator to support youth aged 10-17 receiving mental health, trauma, and substance use services. This role maintains safety, supervises unit activity, and helps uphold daily programming in a therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, criminal justice or related mental health field and one year experience working with troubled youth.
Valid State Driver’s License.
Certified in CPR, First Aid and Handle With Care (offered during Orientation).

Responsibilities

Assist and supports Unit Managers in training employees and managing shift schedules.
Proactively supports Specialists on the units in situations of acuity, crisis or other unit issues.
Assures compliance with company policies and procedures through diligent supervision and examination of all unit activity/workflow.
Ensures that the rights of the clients and their families are respected and protected in accordance with facility goals.
