OU Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. The RN will work under supervision, documenting responses to interventions and supporting physicians during examinations and procedures.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license (OK or eNLC) and BLS certification, with 1+ year of patient care experience. OU Health offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Formación

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 1+ years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse.
• Current RN License (OK) or eNLC multistate license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments.
• Assists physician in examination and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Obtains and monitors physiological data and intervenes when needed.
• Administers medications as prescribed.
• Initiates, regulates and monitors IV infusions and blood products.
• Delivers patient care safely and competently.
• Resolves patient complaints in collaboration with staff.
• Informs patient and family of procedures and care plan.
• Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains professional development and licensure.
