Job summary

Walmart in Scarborough, ME is seeking an associate to deliver exceptional member service, assist with merchandising, and supervise team members in a fast-paced retail environment. The role supports management in daily operations, coaching, and maintaining store standards for safety and customer satisfaction.

You will help with stock, pricing, displays, and open‑door policy adherence, while focusing on meeting customer needs and encouraging repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.
• Leading a team, Supervising experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs and guiding them to self-service options.
• Assists management with supervision of associates and training on processes and procedures.
• Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise, maintains sales floor, and completes required documentation.
• Maintains safety by performing safety sweeps and following hazardous materials handling procedures.
• Manages merchandising presentation, pricing, and product rotation; handles returns and damage control.
• Leads teams, coordinates work assignments, and supports open-door policy and ethics standards.
• Oversees club pickup orders and collaborates with managers to meet business needs.
