The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent training, with preference for a Bachelor's in a healthcare field, and at least 1 year of relevant social support experience; the hospital offers

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 2 years of training; Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in social support services such as mental health, social services agencies, hospitals or education.
• Behavioral Healthcare experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients, including milieu safety/management and individual patient intervention.
• Conducts mental health assessments and monitors level of functioning.
• Delivers treatment planning, psycho-educational and process groups, focus groups, and documents actions.
• Functions as an active member of the multidisciplinary team.
