Saint Anthony Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Mental Health Technician to join the team for night shifts. The role provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients, including milieu safety/management and individual interventions, with treatment planning and group sessions as part of duties.

The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent training, with preference for a Bachelor's in a healthcare field, and at least 1 year of relevant social support experience; the hospital offers

Position Title: Mental Health Technician

Shift: Nights

Status: Full-time, Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Schedule: Twelve-Hour Shifts

Compensation: $19.00 — $24.00

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

Position Summary

Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients, including but not limited to, milieu safety/management, individual patient intervention, mental health assessment, and monitoring level of functioning. In addition, provide treatment planning, psycho-educational groups, process groups, focus groups, and documents of these actions. Functions as an active member of the multidisciplinary team.
