Arrowhead Behavioral Health, a 48-bed psychiatric hospital in Maumee, Ohio, seeks a Mental Health Tech for the full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am). Responsibilities include safety checks, education groups, and one-on-one patient sessions, with support for admission and discharge processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in psychology, sociology or similar field with related experience or
• valid CDCA from the State of Ohio with related experience
• enrolled in an accredited nursing program or social services or
• relevant experience
• Required HS diploma or GED
• This is an entry-level position, but proper customer service skills are required.
• Previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks on patients.
• Facilitate educational groups.
• Assist nurses in the admission and discharge process.
• Support patients with one-on-one sessions daily.
