Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Medication Technician per Maryland Board of Nursing requirements.
• Experience administering meds per physician orders and policies.
• Ability to observe, monitor, and report changes in resident condition.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with physician orders and community policy.
• Verify medication, dosage, resident, time, and route before administration.
• Maintain accurate MARs and document any errors or side effects promptly.
• Refill and coordinate with pharmacy for medications as needed.
• Assist residents with ADLs and provide companionship and emotional support.
