Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services is seeking a Medication Technician for their assisted living community in Tonawanda. This role is part-time, primarily during the 11pm - 7am shift, where you will assist residents with their medications and personal care needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in long-term care is preferred, as well as completing a medication technician training program. Join a supportive team dedicated to improving the lives of our residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Able to assist with and operate a wheelchair.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe administration of medication to assigned residents.
• Directly respond to resident’s requests.
• Document care provided according to service standards.
