Qualifications

• Must be licensed in South Dakota as a Medication Aide or willing to complete on-the-job training.
• Must submit to TB test per state regulations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and organizational information.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Document medication administration in MAR and systems.
• Assist residents with daily living activities while promoting safety and dignity.
• Engage residents to encourage participation in daily activities and dining.
• Communicate changes in condition to nursing leadership.
• Collaborate with nursing and care staff to support continuity of care.
