Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Nursing Assistant - Medical Surgical on the 3rd floor for per diem night shifts.

This role supports bedside care, including monitoring and documenting vital signs, data collection, and assisting with activities of daily living. Under supervision of the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse or RN, you will help deliver patient-centered care across a range of ages, contributing to a culture of safety and quality in a reputable Providence facility in Eureka,

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Nursing Assistant certification upon hire.
• Acute care or specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, direct bedside care of patients across age groups as defined by department scope of service.
• Assist with personal hygiene, data collection and observation, vital signs, input/output (I&O).
• Utilize equipment and perform ADLs; document on the medical record.
• Answer call lights and recognize/respond to emergencies as needed.
