Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, IN is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for MedSurg on Nights. The RN provides patient-centered care using the nursing process and coordinates with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and the nursing process.
• Assesses patients and documents findings, reporting changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as applicable.
• Documents patient care thoroughly and maintains accurate medical records.
