Job summary

Mercy is hiring a Med-Surg RN in Kansas. The role uses the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains accountability for the care of assigned patients.

You will coordinate care with other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties aligned with Mercy's mission and service standards. The Medical Surgical unit is a foundational Med-Surg setting caring for diverse acute medical and surgical patient needs.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in your state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability.
• Evaluates care provided by direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
