The ideal candidate may be enrolled in a nursing program and should obtain BCLS within 90 days of hire while contributing to infection control and teamwork within the unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and document patient data, including vital signs, reporting findings to the RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, and use of mobility aids as needed.
• Record specimens and monitor blood glucose, reporting results to the care team.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team and maintain infection control practices.
• Maintain a safe environment and participate in safety and quality initiatives.
• Provide continuous observation as required and support attendance and policy compliance.
