Job summary

Mars, Incorporated, through Mars Petcare, is seeking a Material Handler for our climate-controlled facility in North Kansas City, MO. This full-time, permanent role supports end-to-end logistics: receiving materials, moving inventory with a forklift, loading outbound trailers, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will collaborate with production, purchasing, receiving, shipping, and quality teams in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience: Warehouse logistics, receiving, shipping, or material handling.
• Equipment: Safe forklift operation in industrial setting.
• Physical: Able to stand/walk long periods and lift up to 40 lb.
• Technical: Basic data entry and inventory logging.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound materials against orders and manifests.
• Operate forklift to move materials and stage for production.
• Track inventory and complete shipping/receiving paperwork.
• Ensure labeling, FIFO rotation, and clean storage areas.
• Participate in safety, GMP, and quality processes.
