Job summary
Westlake Chemical seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control system duties in a night-shift environment. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues from start to finish, ensure equipment reliability, and support a safe, efficient operation in a smaller, close-knit plant.

Qualifications
- HSED Diploma or GED with 5 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting up to 480 V.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system duties.
- Assess equipment state and determine actions to eliminate downtime.
- Install and set up barrels and screws on extruders with minimal supervision.
- Complete welding and fabrication work and process improvements.
- Utilize Fiix maintenance software to generate work orders and track parts.
- Inspect equipment twice per shift and ensure functionality to spec.
