Job summary
Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking aMaintenance Associate at our Martinsburg, WV facility to perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on manufacturing machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and adherence to safety protocols.
The position includes a 5th shift schedule with weekend hours, benefits starting day one, weekly pay, and on-demand pay options.
Qualifications
- High school graduate/GED required.
- Minimum of two years of maintenance experience, with at least one year in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic preventive maintenance scheduling and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose root cause of problems in plant machinery and equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLCs).
- Perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on machinery.
- Operate and maintain motorized equipment and perform basic to moderately complex electrical repairs.
- Maintain and repair grounds/facilities; interact with vendors for repairs.
- Maintain toolability, parts inventory, and related paperwork.
