Job summary

California Closets is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic & Technician for the third shift in Grand Rapids, MI. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy CNC-style equipment and related building systems, with frontline responsibility for safety and uptime.

The role requires 5+ years in similar maintenance roles, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work nights 10:00PM–6:30AM. Competitive hourly pay starts at $30.62+ DOE with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance roles with heavy CNC machinery.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair heavy wood processing equipment such as Homag Saws, CNC machines, and edge banders.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures for equipment and building systems.
• Maintain tools and documentation; ensure compliance with safety codes.
• Requisition parts and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
