Job summary

Clyde’s Donuts in Addison, IL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot production equipment, and repair electrical and mechanical systems across the facility.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Able to troubleshoot malfunctions and restore operations.
• Able to read and interpret complex manuals and drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with production and maintenance management and personnel.
• Use MVP One to access maintenance schedules and log corrective actions.
• Complete daily inspections, routine adjustments, and emergency repairs.
• Install new electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC controls, motor controls, wiring, and test equipment.
• Maintain facility utilities (refrigeration, boilers, etc.).
• Read schematics and maintain documentation.
• Maintain spare parts inventory.
• Support continuous improvement and safety.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Assist in training others.
• Comply with safety and GMP requirements.
• Report safety/food safety or quality issues.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
